Self-described as “Florida’s most eclectic music festival”, Langerado is one of the 2009’s most highly-anticipated festivals. Rumors about the festival have been circulating since October, and include talks of performances by Pearl Jam, Morrisey, and Daft Punk.

WTF, Langerado?

Langerado 2008 was an incredible experience. Hosted by Big Cypress Indian Reservation in the Everglades, it was a festival unique in both its timing–midyear, in March–and its location. The lineup featured acts like Matisyahu (who even hosted a Shabbat camp for the Jewish Sabbath! How cool!); Phil Lesh and Friends; REM; The Beastie Boys; Thievery Corporation; The Roots; so on and so on, The Avett Brothers, Perpetual Groove, RRE, of Montreal, Dark Star Orchestra, and other amazing performers. Langerado 2009, unfortunately, will not be the same.
