WTF, Langerado?

Langerado 2008 was an incredible experience. Hosted by Big Cypress Indian Reservation in the Everglades, it was a festival unique in both its timing–midyear, in March–and its location. The lineup featured acts like Matisyahu (who even hosted a Shabbat camp for the Jewish Sabbath! How cool!); Phil Lesh and Friends; REM; The Beastie Boys; Thievery Corporation; The Roots; so on and so on, The Avett Brothers, Perpetual Groove, RRE, of Montreal, Dark Star Orchestra, and other amazing performers. Langerado 2009, unfortunately, will not be the same. (more…)
