“It’s worth a listen” has been improving. The new title and layout, as well as changes to the blog’s format and style, are bringing us toward a bright future. Our most important improvement so far, however, is a new contributor: Emily Williams.
Emily is a sophomore at the University of Maryland, studying French and Marketing. She is very involved on campus, holding positions with the Smith Undergraduate Student Association, our business school’s student government; the Maryland Music Business Society; and WMUC 88.1, UMD’s radio station.
Though constantly busy, Emily’s a pretty heady chick. When she isn’t crazy with all of her “real” work, she loves to get down. Her musical taste is diverse, with favorites ranging from Tea Leaf Green to Dr. Dog; you can learn more about that from herlast.fm.
Emily is a great addition to the blog, and I’m incredibly pleased to have her on staff. In addition to her contributions here, you can also read her posts on Terrapin Sound.
Sorry for not posting as much lately; it’s me who’s slowed down, not the industry. Emily’s involvement will hopefully keep the blog more up-to-date, as I’ve been a bit swamped. Expected to hear from her soon!
